How Do You Know If You Are Getting Traffic To Your Articles?

Repost this article

If you already submitted your article to Ezinearticles, it might (or might not) have been approved by now and you might have even gotten a visitor or two already!

How do you know?

You can check this two ways.

1. Go to Ezinearticles and login. At the top put your mouse over the “Author Tools” menu and select “View My Article Reports” from the pull down menu. Click on your author name and a list of your articles will show up. You can see the views and URL clicks in the column. The Views is the number of times that someone looked at your article and the URL clicks is the number of times the clicked through to your website! You can also see how many people published your article to their ezine, emailed it to others as well as comments, votes and even a rating if you have any.

2. The other way to see how much traffic your article is bringing in is from the stats on your website. Go to cpanel or the equivalent or log into your stats tracker. Look for the referring sites – when you see ezinarticles in the url that indicates a visitor from your article.

So now that you know how much fun this is, you probably want to submit your article to all kinds of different directories and get more and more visitors, don’t you? But wait….

Before you go crazy submitting stuff, lets talk about the dreaded Duplicate Content Penalty.
