Everyone should have a facebook fan page, right? Too bad it’s so hard to figure out how to make one. Here’s a video that shows you how – it’s easy!
Here’s instructions on what to do:
Go To: http://www.facebook.com/pages
Login in the top right with your facebook username and password if you are not already logged in.
Click “Create Page” in the top right
Pick the appropriate Type (probably Brand or Product for most of you)
Pick The Category And Fill in the space underneath with what you want for the Name of you page
Click “Get Started”
That’s It! Now you can upload an image or do other various things to the page.
To go back and edit/add to the page, go to facebook.com/pages (after logging in to facebook) and click “Pages I Admin” at the top of the page.
Click “Edit Page” under the page you want to edit. To post a status update, Click “View Page” in the upper right and then select “Post Update” – you can add a link, a video, photo or whatever just like in your regular facebook page.
To direct people to your page, go up to the browser and copy in the url that you see up to and including the really long number. That is what you must use (just using the facebook.com/pages/ yourtitle doesn’t work, you have to include that long number.
